What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and analyze cloud infrastructure patterns and cost optimization opportunities
- Draft and share blog posts, quarterly reports, and articles for the Cloud Cost Handbook
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to produce engaging content and graphics
- Transform ideas from sales and product teams into actionable content drafts
- Analyze content performance and iterate on strategies to drive demo requests and top-of-funnel activity
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 2 years of content creation experience, ideally targeting developers and technical users
- Strong interest and passion for the topics covered, with a desire for widespread content consumption
- Metrics-driven mindset with a natural inclination for analytical review
- Commitment to continuous improvement as a writer, with an interest in the craft of technical writing
- Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to empathize with users
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with writing simple SQL and conducting data analysis to support content topics
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS, along with an understanding of effective web layout
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and familiarity with the DevOps profession
- Exceptional written communication skills, particularly for web and social media content
