What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and deliver innovative software and architectural solutions to solve client business problems
- Identify technical and business challenges and develop architectural specifications to meet requirements
- Collaborate with internal and external technical teams to map customer requirements to technological solutions
- Perform hands-on development work, including design, development, unit testing, and integration testing
- Document and publish technical design documentation and artifacts throughout the project lifecycle
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years in Information Technology, Technical Application Development, or similar experience
- At least 5 years of software development experience
- Experience with REST services, Microservices, and Service-Oriented Architecture
- Prior experience in Java Middle Tier Development
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with API performance testing using JMeter or similar tools
- Knowledge of API analytics through ELK and Kafka stack
- Familiarity with Python, Groovy, JavaScript, and Angular
- Knowledge of PaaS, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Understanding of personal line insurance and metadata models like OneShield Enterprise
