What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide technical support for customers and the sales team regarding Fluid Connectors
- Monitor and respond to inquiries on the IHP Help Desk and Fluid Connectors Help Desk
- Process Fluid Connector RFQs, including collecting necessary STAMPED information and creating BOMs
- Collaborate with customers and support the outside sales team with communications
- Drive growth and direction of the Fluid Connector Group product line through program development and implementation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience with solid business acumen
- Prior comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with industrial hose, including building, crimping, and testing assemblies
- Understanding of STAMPED and its importance in RFQs
- Self-motivated and task-oriented, able to work without direct supervision
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with customers, vendors, and company staff
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the fluid power industry or related fields
- Familiarity with training and educational program development
- Proven track record of driving sales growth in a technical support role
- Ability to adapt to varying physical demands of the job
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
