What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary recruiting point of contact for building automation and controls hiring, managing the full-cycle recruiting process for 20 to 30 active requisitions
- Partner with hiring leaders to define role scope and technical requirements, leading discussions to translate business needs into recruiting strategies
- Evaluate and screen technical talent across BAS, controls, PLC, and SCADA systems, ensuring cultural alignment
- Drive a consistent candidate experience through effective communication and coordination from initial contact to onboarding
- Continuously improve recruiting effectiveness by refining job descriptions, sourcing strategies, and workflows
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of recruiting experience, specifically in building automation, controls, or related technical domains
- Demonstrated ability to assess technical talent in engineering and field-based environments
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities independently
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and HR software; experience with Rippling preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience recruiting for PLC and/or SCADA professionals
- Understanding of the construction and engineering design process, including BAS deliverables
- Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance recruiting workflows
- Experience supporting and mentoring junior recruiters or recruiting coordinators
- Familiarity with labor market trends in the Building Automation & Controls industry
