What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a technical resource for customers, responding efficiently to inquiries and exploring their business goals
- Develop relationships with accounts and establish technical credibility
- Prospect for new business, qualify sales leads, and manage a strong opportunity funnel
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure continuity of product supply and manage reagent forecasts
- Provide market feedback and competitive intelligence to inform product offerings and strategies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in any life science field
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the life sciences industry
- At least 3 years of technical sales experience in life sciences, preferably serving academic, government, and biotech customers
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in developing territory business plans and providing revenue forecasts
- Familiarity with competitive analysis and strategic planning
- Previous success in delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing business and market conditions
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
