What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft, expand, refine, and edit technical documents for various audience levels
- Collaborate with technical team members to develop content
- Standardize documentation, including templates and procedures
- Provide project management services to track and report project status
- Ensure compliance with federal government document requirements and style guides
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA/BS degree in a technical field such as English, Journalism, or Project Management
- Minimum 4-8 years of relevant experience in technical writing and/or project management
- Strong ability to gather requirements and produce high-quality documentation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience drafting IT, cybersecurity, or related technical documentation
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- CAPM or PMP certification
