What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate and supervise outside plant field construction and splicing operations across multiple locations
- Provide audits of OSP projects and coach consultants and contractors for compliance with standards
- Review reports from field personnel and contractor invoicing for accuracy
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines and manage right-of-way and permitting processes
- Adapt to new construction tracking methods and project management techniques
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate Degree (or higher) -OR- 2+ years of professional work experience
- 2+ years' experience in Voice, Data, or Video networking -OR- 6+ months TDS Telecom technical internship experience
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance
- Excellent leadership, customer relations, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Fiber optic implementation experience
- Project Management experience
- Understanding of Telecommunications industry principles
- Proficiency in GIS applications like ESRI ArcGIS or AGOL
- Ability to read and understand FTTH construction prints
