What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle external and internal phone calls for various departments and staff while maintaining professionalism
- Utilize software tools to screen calls and determine appropriate call flows
- Administer pager and on-call schedules, documentation, and clerical duties as needed
- Provide support during emergent events and ensure proper communication
- Maintain a calm and empathetic demeanor when interacting with callers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service skills and excellent problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in a telecommunications or customer service role within a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with call center operations and emergency response protocols
