      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Develop, oversee, and maintain telecommunications architecture for structured cabling and fiber systems
      - Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations
      - Design structured cabling systems for new and existing facilities, including telecommunications rooms and pathways
      - Collaborate with various stakeholders including state agencies, engineers, and construction teams
      - Manage project execution, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Three or more years of experience in telecommunications design, including ISP and OSP cabling systems
      - Strong knowledge of structured cabling, fiber-optic engineering, and industry best practices
      - Proficiency with GIS tools and telecom design software
      - Ability to read, interpret, and produce engineering drawings and construction documentation
      - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in government or public-sector telecommunications projects
      - Knowledge of BICSI, TIA/EIA standards, and regulatory frameworks
      - Familiarity with dark fiber, metro fiber, and carrier networks
      - Relevant industry certifications in telecommunications design or engineering
      - Experience in leading architectural efforts during design and construction phases
