What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach graduate and undergraduate project management courses with a focus on business and supply chain management concepts
- Develop, maintain, and assess course content, particularly related to the Embry-Riddle Aviation Project Management Framework (AVPM)
- Update curricula as needed to ensure relevance and quality
- Stay current in the profession and provide service to the department, college, university, and profession
- Participate in limited travel for meetings and conferences
What is Required (Qualifications):
- A doctorate from an accredited institution is mandatory
- Experience in managing aviation-related projects, such as product development or aviation-related construction
- Proven excellence in teaching with strong evaluations in related fields
- Strong written and communication skills with a clearly defined teaching philosophy
- Ability to engage and mentor students from diverse backgrounds in a remote setting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience teaching web-based courses and in course design for online delivery
- Participation in professional organizations such as PMI
- Significant industry experience in aviation
- Ability to adapt to rapid changes and prioritize effectively
- Experience with online learning management systems
