What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Teach graduate and undergraduate courses primarily focused on commercial aviation business
- Develop, maintain, and assess curricula for the College’s aviation-related degree programs
- Stay current in the profession and engage in service to the department, college, and university
- Participate in limited travel for meetings and conferences as required
- Demonstrate commitment to teaching excellence and student engagement
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Relevant Master's degree required for Assistant level; Doctorate required for Associate level
- Proven excellence in teaching with strong evaluations in related fields
- Experience in higher education teaching, particularly web-based courses
- Strong written and communication skills
- Ability to engage and mentor students from diverse backgrounds in a remote setting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Commercial management experience in the airline, airport, or aviation supplier sector
- Experience in course design and development for online delivery
- Active participation in professional organizations related to aviation and education
- A clearly defined teaching philosophy and commitment to continuous improvement
- Experience with online learning management systems
