      Position Overview

      The Territory Account Sales Executive expands new business and renewals in important accounts to exceed our financial and business goals. This job is assigned a sales quota and performance is measured against quarterly and annual performance targets in new business generation and expansion selling.

      You will report to a Midmarket Sales Manager and will work closely with our Inside Sales BDR Team, Autodesk Technical Sales, Autodesk Channel Partners, Autodesk Customer Success, and Autodesk Field (Midmarket) Sales to a cover a portfolio of accounts located in PA, MD, DC, DE, and NJ. You must reside in portfolio region.

      Responsibilities

      • Develop new business and manage renewals in the assigned portfolio of existing accounts to exceed financial targets and business goals

      • Evaluate and prepare Customer Plans in Salesforce for each assigned account. You will evaluate the customer profile, creating value messaging, coordinate with the extended sales team, and target important steps needed to achieve the account plans

      • You will develop impactful relationships within the account including C suite executive and translate customer challenges and opportunities into unique business value for the customer

      • Ensure the Autodesk team delivers value to the customer, by building Customer Plans, developing the opportunity pipeline, using sound call planning to achieve our goals, and making continuous improvement in moving Autodesk from vendor to trusted advisor

      • You will manage accounts through entire sales process, participating in both virtual and in-person meetings, business development, and prospecting, and opportunity management through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support

      • You will deliver an accurate ongoing forecast of business

      • Collaborate with channel partners to understand their business, creatively adopt programs to increase new revenue, lead the co-selling process to Autodesk customers, and expand partner relationships

      • Reach out and provide regular customer feedback to the product, industry and strategic marketing teams to help identify product strengths and areas of improvement

      • Develop a 5 quarter rolling pipeline to exceed assigned pipeline volume target

      • Prospect and identify AEC customer design/construction projects, and map new business or expansion opportunities to them accordingly

      • Negotiate deals and contracts at multiple levels within the targeted account, with primary focus/importance on "C" and enterprise-level

      Minimum Qualifications

      • Proven track record (9+ years) of consistent quota achievement

      • Enterprise SaaS customer-facing sales experience in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Owner, or Manufacturing industries

      • Strong team selling and account team leadership skills

      • Experience with direct and indirect selling channels

      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

      Salary transparency

      Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $221,300 and $320,210. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries and/or OTE for sales roles, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
