- Establishes and maintains effective relationships with our store leaders and teammates, gains their trust & respect using experience and training
- Creates confidence & excitement by teaching our teammates to make meaningful selling recommendations to improve the golfer's performance on the course
- Maintains master-level knowledge of the fitting process, products, and selling and service, as well as an understanding of the technology innovation on the equipment horizon
- Drive sales activation and golfer recognition of Golf Galaxy and HoS as the premier golf equipment and service provider in the marketplace
- Train store leaders and teammates on specialized selling techniques
- In collaboration with DM and GSM, Train & certify Master Club Fitters and Club Fitters on all aspects of club fitting, golf club services and services/equipment technology
- Host territory conference call with Store Master Fitters, including agenda prep & aligning partner participation
- Demonstrate a desire to learn and maintain their own master-level training by utilizing company and vendor provided training, and be able to share that info with store leaders and teammates
- Participation in regular visits with DM to evaluate store performance, strength of fitting experience and consistency of program execution through observation, etc.
- Works collaboratively with the Sr. Director, DM & Store Manager/GGXY General Sales Manager to align on training and support teammate skill enhancement needs across their region/districts
- Plan, organize, and execute on a plan for training and coaching SMCF's and Certified Fitters across their stores
- Ensures partnership with the GSM and DM as must be part of the teammate elevation
- Participates in monthly touch base call with DM & GSMs to discuss training needs across districts/territory
- Supports store management in driving sales by providing an elevated level of service
- Assists with onboarding, training, and coaching of teammates throughout the store and district
- Review month prior performance metrics, including P&L statement, to raise awareness and build strategy related to increasing sales, customer penetration, customer service/satisfaction results, etc.
- Collaborate with their peers to share best practices, training gaps and how we continue to narrow the gaps between top and bottom performers
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-3 years experience
- Club Fitting in Retail Golf or Green Grass experience required; Golf Tech experience preferred but not required
- GGXY Certified Fitter (Custom Fitting)
- Callaway Fitter Certification & TaylorMade University
- Level 1 & 2 Trackman University (exception to complete within 1 year of role attainment available)
- Passion for Golf Industry - trends, Tour, social media, etc.
- Demonstrated passion for continual learning and coaching others
- Ability to multi-task & work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time

QUALIFICATIONS:
Targeted Pay Range: $47,300.00 - $78,900.00. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
