What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prospect, interview, and approve new appointments to expand the employer's agency distribution
- Manage agents within a designated area using in-person, virtual, phone, and email communication to build relationships and deliver training
- Translate national strategic initiatives into local goals and objectives, ensuring agents are held accountable for execution
- Evaluate agency performance and conduct training on the employer's products, services, and value proposition
- Prepare department business plans, staffing projections, and budgets while adhering to company policies and operating principles
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be able to perform essential functions, including seeing, hearing, typing, and speaking, with or without accommodation
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or 3 years of sales or relevant experience
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance, with compliance to the employer's driving standards
- Strong organizational and priority-setting skills, with the ability to follow complex instructions and resolve conflicts
- Ability to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience with driving sales results
- Experience working with different lines of insurance (P&C, Commercial, Life/Health)
