What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and understand territory dynamics to develop effective business plans and sales strategies
- Develop and manage assigned accounts to drive revenue growth and ensure high customer satisfaction
- Maintain regular communication with customers, including scheduling sales calls and follow-ups
- Build knowledge of CRM tools to forecast business and manage customer opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to achieve sales goals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant Life Science field (biology, biochemistry, chemistry, etc.)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in molecular and/or laboratory pathology sales or customer support
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Reside in Massachusetts, preferably in the Boston area
- Familiarity with academic, National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), corporate, and government accounts in the region
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with molecular biology reagents, laboratory consumables, or capital equipment sales
- Strong understanding of the competitive landscape in the life sciences industry
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
