What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and understand territory dynamics to develop effective business plans and sales strategies
- Develop and manage assigned accounts to drive revenue growth and ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain regular communication with customers, including scheduling sales calls and providing product information
- Utilize CRM tools for forecasting business, managing customer opportunities, and maintaining records
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Application Scientists, and Inside Sales teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant Life Science field (biology, biochemistry, chemistry, etc.)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in molecular and/or laboratory pathology sales or field-based customer support
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets or key performance indicators
- Reside in Texas, preferably in Houston (Dallas or Austin will be considered)
- Familiarity with academic, National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), corporate, and government accounts in the region
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in molecular biology reagents, laboratory consumables, or capital equipment sales
- Strong network within the life sciences community in Texas
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships with customers
