What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and grow sales across the Southeast region, including strategic account development and territory expansion
- Build strong relationships with key customers, engineers, and decision-makers to identify new opportunities
- Develop and execute territory business plans, including forecasting and strategic growth initiatives
- Conduct regular field visits and joint customer calls with representatives and distributors
- Provide market feedback to internal teams regarding competitive trends and customer needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of technical sales experience in electronic components or a related industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with manufacturer's representative firms and distributor channels
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Willingness to travel within the territory (approximately 30-50%)
