What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Expand and cultivate existing accounts while establishing new ones to drive sales growth
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and conduct competitive analysis for strategic decision-making
- Analyze market segments to identify opportunities for growth and development
- Conduct sales promotions and educational meetings to foster strong customer relationships
- Maintain thorough sales records, including customer profiles and territory/account sales records
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of proven direct sales experience, preferably in the building products industry
- Thorough understanding of the building products industry and sales management experience
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred
- General knowledge of major competitive brands within the industry
- Solid time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a high level of integrity
