What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive revenue across the defined territory by nurturing existing accounts and building new ones
- Regularly visit veterinary offices to achieve budgeted sales volume and established goals
- Utilize CRM for pre-call planning and post-call notes for effective territory management
- Conduct educational programs for veterinary professionals and distributor sales representatives
- Analyze market data to identify business opportunities and support the promotion of whole-food nutritional supplements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
- 3-5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in veterinary pharmaceuticals or nutraceuticals
- Experience analyzing sales and demographic data
- Demonstrated success in product sales and territory development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software, such as Salesforce.com
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of SP Veterinary Formulas and the veterinary marketplace
- Strong analytical skills for developing sales strategies
- Ability to communicate effectively with veterinary professionals at a sophisticated level
- Experience in reporting and presenting sales data and activities
- Highly organized with polished presentation skills
