What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive revenue by nurturing existing accounts and building new relationships within the veterinary market
- Conduct regular visits to veterinary offices to achieve sales goals
- Utilize CRM for effective territory management and customer follow-up
- Develop and promote whole-food nutritional supplements to veterinary professionals
- Conduct educational programs for veterinary staff and distributor sales representatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 3-5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in veterinary pharmaceuticals or nutraceuticals
- Proven success in product sales and territory development
- Strong analytical skills for analyzing sales and demographic data
- Ability to communicate effectively with veterinary professionals
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce.com
- Thorough knowledge of sales and marketing principles in the veterinary field
- Ability to manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously
- Strong presentation skills and polished communication abilities
- Familiarity with veterinary marketplace trends and issues
