What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive special order sales to increase market share across various business segments
- Provide product knowledge training and demonstrations for associates
- Maintain stock business integrity and ensure proper pricing and display quality
- Build rapport with store personnel to enhance customer engagement
- Address customer complaints and recommend solutions for satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proven direct sales experience in the building products industry preferred
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Solid time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- General knowledge of major competitive brands within the industry
- Ability to adapt to new processes, technologies, and ways of thinking
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a high level of integrity and motivation
