What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive special order sales to increase market share in various business segments
- Provide product knowledge training and demonstrations for associates
- Maintain stock product integrity and ensure accurate pricing in collaboration with the Merchandising Execution Team
- Engage with store personnel to build rapport and address customer needs
- Strategically plan sales activities and report using CRM and Call Reporting applications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Proven direct sales experience in the building products industry preferred
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Solid time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Understanding of the building products industry and home improvement retail channel
- General knowledge of major competitive brands within the industry
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with high integrity and motivation
- Ability to adapt to new processes and embrace change positively
