What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Actively seek out and develop new sales opportunities in your territory
- Manage and grow an established customer base while driving new business
- Create and implement a comprehensive territory business growth sales plan
- Provide monthly sales updates and overviews regarding territory performance
- Travel throughout the sales territory, primarily in North Carolina, with the potential to cover additional states
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3-5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in a technical or scientific field
- Strong technical background in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Medical Technology, or Environmental Engineering
- Proven ability to drive business growth with a hunter mentality
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM software to manage leads and sales records
- Excellent networking skills and strong organizational abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience selling water purification systems or working with distributors
- Familiarity with laboratory environments and related sales processes
- Ability to adapt and respond to changing territory demands and customer needs
