What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive special order sales to increase market share in various business segments
- Provide training and product demonstrations for associates
- Maintain stock product integrity and ensure correct pricing with the Merchandising Execution Team
- Engage with store personnel to build rapport and enhance customer relationships
- Address customer complaints and recommend solutions for satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Proven direct sales experience in the building products industry preferred
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Solid time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- General knowledge of major competitive brands within the industry
- Ability to adapt to new processes, technologies, and ways of thinking
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a high level of integrity and personal motivation
