What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Construct, maintain, and validate licensure and certification tests according to client contracts
- Design and conduct job analysis studies, including surveys and focus groups
- Develop and review test items for written and performance exams
- Facilitate item and exam development committee meetings and training sessions
- Conduct statistical analyses and write technical reports related to examination development
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in I/O psychology, measurement, education, or related assessment area (Ph.D. preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in professional test development
- Familiarity with testing in the certification and/or licensure industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in managing multiple project assignments and timelines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Training and experience in psychometrics
- Knowledge of SAS, SPSS, and/or SQL
- Experience conducting pre-equating or post-equating analyses
