  Take Two provides a range of specialised therapeutic intervention services for infants, children and young people who have suffered trauma, neglect and disrupted attachment, and contributes to the service system that provides care, support and protection for these children. Take Two has a comprehensive clinical framework and is supported by a knowledge team that provides internal clinical practice development, research and specialist consultation to the program to enhance outcomes for service users. * Preston location, Wurundjeri Country * Part time (0.6) Permanent role * $97k pa + 11.5% superannuation + salary packaging up to $15,900 pa (pro rata). About The Wattle Project The Wattle Project is led by Take Two in partnership with several community-based organisations who provide service navigation, and cultural and disability expertise services to adolescents using family violence in the home (AVITH) across Northeast Melbourne and Hume Merri-bek regions. The case management component of the Wattle Project works alongside staff delivering clinical AVITH services. The Therapeutic Case Manager provides a case management model of support for young people within the context of their family, via an assertive outreach and engagement approach, to address issues contributing to or resulting from their use of violence. The program supports young people aged 12–18 years old and their families, where the young person is using violence against a parent or carer. Key Responsibilities * To carry a caseload and provide therapeutic case management to young people and families. * Undertake AVITH specific assessments and case management interventions that attend to the young person’s and their family’s strengths, needs and risks * Engage young people and their families to develop whole-of-family safety action plans, and to regularity monitor and review these. * Work systemically with other professionals. Your Skills and Experience We are seeking a qualified Therapeutic Case Manager who has a Bachelor's degree level or higher qualification in a Health or Welfare related field such as Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, Family Therapy, Speech Pathology or related discipline. * You will have experience working collaboratively with the family violence sector including working knowledge of the MARAM and Safe and Together. * A sound understanding of the issues involved in working with families with diverse needs - i.e. CALD or disability (physical, sensory, intellectual or psychiatric) * Enjoy working collaboratively within a team. * Post Graduate training is desirable (Adolescent Mental Health; EMDR; Family Therapy etc.) Extra Benefits * Regular reflective supervision * $15,900.00 pa (pro rata) Salary Packaging + Additional Salary Packaging for meals/accommodation * Flexible work arrangements * 10 weeks paid parental leave * Access to the Employee Assistance Program, with access for staff's immediate family * Leave loading 17.5% How to Apply Applications including resume and cover letter addressing your suitability for the position to be submitted by Midnight Tuesday 11th February 2025 Queries to Alice Lockery, Clinical Team Leader on 0448 781 266 Please Note; the successful applicant will be subject to comprehensive reference and background checking prior to employment, including a Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
