What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide IT support for technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications and operating systems
- Document new and existing policies, procedures, and network diagrams
- Identify gaps in existing processes and implement new procedures to improve capabilities
- Act as a liaison between technical engineers and tier 1 technicians
- Train and mentor junior staff to enhance team capabilities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science or MIS, or at least one year of IT or related experience, preferably in service desk support
- CompTIA Security+ Certification
- Open to any shift, on-call rotations, and potential weekend work in a 24/7 operation
- Proficiency in Office 365 and Active Directory administration
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Azure or Microsoft certifications (AZ-900, MS-900)
- Knowledge of ConnectWise Manage and Automate
- Experience with Windows Server administration (2012R2, 2016, 2022)
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies, primarily Microsoft AVD and VMware VCP
- Understanding of network technologies, including TCP/IP and firewalls
