What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Make initial and continuing Title IV-E and Medicaid eligibility determinations for foster care children
- Collect and review client information to assess eligibility and options
- Participate in peer reviews and state and federal audits
- Prepare and process documents while ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies
- Maintain and manage files or record-keeping systems, including data entry into relevant databases
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in data entry
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Commitment to customer service
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Professional work experience or knowledge of Title IV-E and Medicaid
- Two or more years of experience working in government or public programs
