      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Collaborate with regional water quality staff to develop and implement toxics reduction plans
      - Conduct watershed evaluations and identify sources of toxic pollutants
      - Provide technical support and outreach to various stakeholders and grantees
      - Organize public meetings and prepare information for community engagement
      - Manage grants and loans for projects aimed at reducing toxics in water systems

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of nine (9) years of experience in environmental-based work or related fields
      - Experience in communicating complex technical information to general audiences
      - Proficiency in reviewing scientific studies, environmental clean-up plans, and data analysis
      - Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
      - Education in environmental, physical, or natural sciences, or related fields

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Understanding of environmental regulations at federal, state, and local levels
      - General knowledge of water pollutants and their impacts
      - Ability to engage in collaborative decision-making processes
      - Experience in organizing community outreach and public engagement initiatives
