      POSITION SUMMARY

      We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Senior Trade Compliance Analyst to join our team. We are looking for a subject matter expert responsible for building, executing and continuously improving the companies global Free Trade Agreement programs with a primary focus on USMCA qualifications. This role will lead Bill of Material (BOM) analysis, origin determinations, supplier data validation, and FTA certifications, ensuring compliance, audit readiness, and duty optimization. In addition to FTA responsibilities, this position will play a key role in customs entry audits, identifying compliance gaps, uncovering root causes, and driving automated and scalable solutions to streamline trade compliance processes.

      CORE FUNCTIONS
      • Lead Free Trade Agreement (FTA) programs (including USMCA), ensuring consistent and compliant application across the organization
      • Perform origin qualification analyses (tariff shift, RVC, and other rule-of-origin methods) at the BOM level
      • Determine country of origin and eligibility by analyzing materials, sourcing, and production processes
      • Prepare, validate, and maintain FTA certifications and supporting documentation for audits and regulatory inquiries
      • Conduct post-entry audits and compliance reviews; identify discrepancies, root causes, and corrective actions
      • Monitor and analyze trends in classification, valuation, origin, and duty claims to drive continuous improvement
      • Classify products under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and perform ongoing audits for accuracy
      • Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and internal controls to support compliance and audit readiness
      • Identify and implement process improvements, including automation and data-driven controls, to enhance efficiency and accuracy
      • Partner cross-functionally with IT, procurement, and operations to improve data integrity, systems, and reporting capabilities
      • Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on trade compliance requirements and best practices
      • Maintain accurate, audit-ready records and proactively identify and escalate compliance risks

      QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

      Education and Experience
      • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
      • 8+ years of trade compliance experience, with strong expertise in FTA origin and audit programs
      • Hands-on experience with USMCA rules of origin, BOM analysis, and qualification methodologies
      • Strong knowledge of HTS classification and General Rules of Interpretation (GRI)
      • Experience conducting customs entry audits and post-entry reviews
      • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and drive corrective actions
      • Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional and global teams
      • Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
      • Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) and Spanish language skills preferred

      Required Licenses
      • Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) certification is preferred.

      Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
      • Advanced expertise in HTS classification, GRI, and U.S. Customs trade programs (including ACE)
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and drive corrective actions
      • Proficient in Excel (advanced formulas, data modeling, automation) and Microsoft Office; able to quickly learn new systems/ERP tools
      • Effective communication and collaboration skills; able to influence cross-functional and global teams
      • Solid understanding of supply chain operations and compliance processes
      • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
      • English proficiency required; Spanish language skills a plus

      Travel
      • Occasional travel may be required.

      SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
      • Individual Contributor: working team member with no oversight of others and no management responsibilities.

      PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
      • This position is subject to sedentary work; Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involved sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

      Visual Acuity
      • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.

      Working Conditions
      • The worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, including heat, noise, vibration, and hazards from a production-based environment.
