- Scheduling and arranging competency assessments as well as following up on PTO’s in preparation for the 365 days license renewals
- Completing required documentation for licensing and obtaining signatures
- Coordinating and facilitating induction safety training which includes induction for contractors, annual, visitors and on the job training
- Facilitating Computer Based Assessments (CBA’s)
- Coordinating First Aid, Rescue Pack, Refuge Bay and evacuation training as well as ensuring venues are booked and required equipment is available
- Ensuring effective record keeping and record management as well as effective communication between relevant stakeholders
- Effective people and team management
- Grade 12/ Equivalent
- Certificate/ Diploma in Facilitation, ETD, or related field
- Registered as a facilitator
- Assessor/ Moderator certificate (advantage)
- In depth experience in the relevant technical discipline (engineering, mining, metallurgy) within the mining industry
- Experience in a Learning and Development
- Labour Relations Act
- Basic Conditions of Employment Act
- Mines Health and Safety Act and Regulations
- Skills Development Act and Levies Act
- Knowledge of Accreditation standards incl. ISO 14001, ISO 9001:2008, and OSHAS 18001
- Specialist technical knowledge of the discipline / function
- Knowledge of training systems, procedures, and policies (internal and external)
- Knowledge of safety systems and standards
- Working knowledge of opencast and underground mining techniques and equipment

Job Description
As the Training Facilitator you will coordinate, arrange, and facilitate technical training within area of responsibility to ensure licence compliance, which entails scheduling, facilitating, and conducting theoretical, practical and simulator training.
