What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide compassionate and respectful care to families during the transfer of the deceased
- Safely transport decedents from various locations to the funeral home
- Maintain accurate and timely paperwork in compliance with regulations
- Work irregular hours, including nights and weekends, as needed
- Maintain a professional appearance and perform additional duties as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 100 lbs safely
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Composure, compassion, and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish effective work processes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a similar role within the funeral services industry
- Certification in funeral services or related field
