      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Design and deliver rigorous, college-preparatory English coursework for advanced learners
      - Provide academic coaching and mentorship to students transitioning into college life
      - Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary learning experiences
      - Assess student progress and maintain accurate records of student performance
      - Participate in community events and contribute to program goals for diversity and inclusion

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Master's degree in English or a Humanities area
      - Minimum of three years of direct instructional experience with K-12 students
      - Ability to attend all class sessions and scheduled meetings
      - Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate student support meetings
      - Completion of required training related to working with minors

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Ph.D. degree in English, Humanities, or Education with a concentration in English
      - Washington State teaching certification
      - Experience teaching students aged 13-15 in academic settings
      - Familiarity with highly capable or accelerated student programs
      - Experience working with diverse populations and underrepresented students
