What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist registered nurses with scheduling and care coordination for patients in the Transplant Care Navigation program
- Communicate with patients and care partners to ensure appointment attendance and resolve scheduling issues
- Document activities and update patient charts within the medical record system
- Utilize critical thinking and time management skills to facilitate patient scheduling
- Assist with various projects assigned by the direct supervisor
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree required
- 1-2 years of related experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a telephonic environment
- Must have a HIPAA-compliant workspace with high-speed internet
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficiency in EPIC software
- Scheduling training preferred
- Prior experience as a remote employee
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced interpersonal skills for handling sensitive situations
