What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collect, summarize, and validate data for the Commercial Vehicle Information Exchange Window (CVIEW)
- Assist customers by researching and resolving issues related to weigh station operations
- Update vehicle and transponder information in the CVIEW database
- Prepare presentations and provide training to carriers and governmental agencies
- Validate and process Public Disclosure Requests (PDR) for scale crossing data
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Ability to analyze system or customer issues and recommend solutions
- Skills in maintaining and refining transportation/vehicle data systems
- Knowledge of transportation systems, policies, and compliance factors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Extensive experience in data collection, technical engineering, or related fields
- Familiarity with Commercial Vehicles and weigh station operations
- Experience processing public disclosure requests or protecting sensitive information
- Ability to create and deliver presentations effectively
- Knowledge of state/federal rules related to e-screening and data security
