      Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off 05:00am - 17:00pm
      Location: Doncaster - DN3 3FF

      We're now looking for a Transport Manager to take the helm of our daily transport operations!

      WHAT YOU'LL DO

      • To supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while always maintaining standards of excellence
      • Ensure drivers are legal and compliant on a daily and weekly basis and ensure clear communication between all functions within the transport department and the warehouse team
      • To lead the work activities of the drivers and the transport clerical team, providing effective leadership, communication, motivation, training and development
      • Carrying out HR Management tasks such as staff reviews, appraisals, absence management and disciplinaries.
      • Team Builder: Develop, engage and inspire your team, creating an environment where every colleague can do their best
      • Analyse & Improve: Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement. Your analytical skills will help us deliver excellence every day!

      WHAT YOU'LL BRING

      • Can lead from the front, winning hearts and minds and providing coaching and mentorship
      • People management experience - desirable
      • Experience working within a transport office / supply chain environment - desirable
      • Computer literate - must have Microsoft Office experience
      • Have excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
      • Aren't afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in when needed
