What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide prompt, courteous, and high-quality customer service to policyholders and claimants
- Gather necessary information to initiate claims and explain policy coverage and procedures
- Manage an inventory of claims, establishing reserves and adjusting as necessary
- Coordinate vehicle repairs and assist with rental reimbursements
- Communicate with involved parties to negotiate settlements within approved payment authority
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not mandatory with relevant experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation claims adjusting
- Active adjuster license(s) with willingness to obtain all required licenses within 45 days
- Knowledge of state regulations, policy provisions, and standard operating procedures
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex data and make sound decisions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in rideshare, first-party comp and collision, third-party property damage, or total loss adjusting
- Commercial experience in claims adjusting
- Curiosity and motivation for problem-solving and questioning the status quo
- Desire for continuous professional development and learning opportunities
- Willingness to travel for client and claims needs
