Drive the Future – Lead with Purpose

Are you ready to take the wheel and steer a team toward excellence? We’re looking for a Transportation Manager to oversee Divisional operations (based in Carrollton, Texas). As Transportation Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of drivers and support staff, and ensure our local fleet and processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

This isn’t just a logistics job — it’s a leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on structure, accountability, and operational excellence.

      What You’ll Do

      • Lead & Manage: Oversee dispatch, routing, vehicle maintenance, and the daily performance of your transportation team.
      • Optimize Operations: Ensure on-time, accurate deliveries and improve throughput using sound planning and performance data.
      • Be the DOT Expert: Train, monitor, and ensure compliance with all DOT and safety regulations.
      • Build a Team: Recruit, train, and mentor drivers and clerical/maintenance staff. Create a positive, safety-first culture.
      • Own the Budget: Prepare and manage departmental budgets and control operating costs — fuel, maintenance, and more.
      • Maintain the Fleet: Keep our trucks, trailers, and equipment inspection-ready and looking sharp — we’re a rolling billboard!

What Makes You a Great Fit?

You're not just experienced — you're a strong leader, sharp decision-maker, and trusted coach. Here's what sets you apart:

      • Transportation Expertise: A minimum of 3 years leading transportation or logistics teams in a fast-paced environment. You understand the pressures and how to navigate them.
      • CDL – Class A: Required, and you're confident behind the wheel or behind the scenes.
      • Regulatory Know-How: Deep knowledge of DOT regulations, driver qualification files, and safety compliance.
      • Operational Acumen: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). You know how to analyze data and make smart calls.
      • Leadership & Accountability: You lead by example, own your outcomes, and know how to get the best out of your team — whether during onboarding, performance reviews, or tough conversations.
      • Detail-Oriented: You catch what others miss and take pride in getting it right.
      • Strong Communicator: Whether it’s coaching a driver, handling a customer complaint, or writing up a report — you’re clear, concise, and professional.
      • Safety First Mindset: You promote a culture of safety and lead proactive audits, training, and incident response.
      • Team Builder: You know how to spot great talent, train them up, and build a team that runs like a well-oiled machine.
