What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle daily inquiries from advisors and provide assistance with support-related queries
- Manage domestic and complex international air reservations to ensure seamless travel solutions
- Research and troubleshoot service desk questions while providing overall customer service
- Facilitate communication through calls, emails, and remote desktop sharing to resolve inquiries
- Escalate complex issues to higher levels of expertise and collaborate with internal teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with primary GDS platforms, preferably Travelport+ or Galileo
- At least 2 years of experience with secondary GDS platforms
- Deep knowledge of GDS formats, air ticketing, hotel, cars, and non-ARC invoicing
- Strong understanding of the international reservation process
- Ability to handle difficult situations independently and escalate when necessary
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience as a travel agent
- Familiarity with key GTC initiatives and client base knowledge
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision
