Manage Treasury Operations for non-North America Legal entities including daily cash positioning, transfer fund approvals, validations, Forecast, etc.
Manage GMGTC Funding Coordinator liquidity and funding activities (cash poll agreements execution)
Provide Treasury support to international (i.e. GM Europe)
Oversee compliance and annual treasury funding execution strategies (Annual FBAR filing, Annual Cash Pool Renewal Process, Bi-Annual Canadian Advance Payment, etc.)
Manage the Netting process (global Multilateral System for allied & non-local payments: execution, funding, etc.)
Improve, manage, and track banking fees.
Provides robust internal cash position analysis, consultation and decision support, ability to translate analysis (80/20 rule)
Ensure desk procedures, on-boarding materials, policy manuals, standard operating procedures are clear and current
This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related areas
7+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting
Demonstrated problem solving ability and ability to resolve issues / conflict and make decisions under tight timeframes.
Ability to lead projects cross-functionally and commitment to teamwork.
Ability to prioritize assignments and multi-task within restricted time constraints.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
MBA and/or Master’s degree preferred
Proficient in Power BI
Strong Corporate Finance knowledge
Prior experience in Treasury is desirable but not mandatory
Job Description
Hybrid This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Cole Engineering Center Tower, Warren MI three times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business]
The Global Funding Treasury Operations Manager leads the team responsible for managing all non-North America Treasury transactions (GM Global Treasury Centre Cash Pool - GMGTC, equity injections, Netting etc.) while executing strategic investments and supporting key finance operational partners company-wide.
