      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Make recommendations for investment purchases, sales, and holds in specific industries for the ROAD portfolio of the State of Michigan Retirement Systems
      - Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses to assess investment risks and returns
      - Play a lead role in asset allocation recommendations and investment manager selection
      - Prepare regular reports to monitor fund performance and compliance with contract terms
      - Provide opinions and support recommendations for underwriting assigned investments

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Possession of a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or real estate management/financing
      - A minimum of four years of professional experience equivalent to a Treasury Investment Analyst P11
      - Professional experience must be counted post-bachelor's degree
      - Certain positions may require specialized experience or certifications, such as CFA or CCIM
      - Must be able to work onsite in Michigan on designated days

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Possession of a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or currently pursuing one
      - Experience in private markets or real return strategies
      - Ability to negotiate terms and conditions of complex investment transactions
      - Familiarity with financial modeling and investment analysis tools
      - Previous experience working in a government or public sector finance role
