      Job Description

      The Treasury Manager is responsible for leading a regional team that develops and executes various corporate treasury functions, including but not limited to capital planning, liquidity and cash management, capital markets activity, relationship management with banks, and managing financial and credit risks. The role requires strong technical skills, the ability to perform deep financial analysis, creatively problem solve, optimization of a range of inputs and scenarios to support effective decision-making, and the capacity to create strong partnerships with a broad range of functions throughout the organization.

      Key Responsibilities:

      Leading all-star, cross-functional teams, strong financial and business insight, developing presentations for senior leadership, heavily reliant on strong communication and analytical skills

      Working Capital Management

      • Ensure compliance to corporate policies, regarding payment terms, both for dealers and suppliers. But must be able to develop managerial business case for exceptions, when these are justified.
      • Assist Dealers with their financing facilities and play supporting role in exploring new opportunities
      • Seek opportunities to optimize MWC

      Liquidity Management

      • Keep track of cash forecast in order to ensure liquidity for the business, looking ahead for potential risks and develop mitigation plans accordingly
      • Oversight of timely cash applications at competitive rates

      Risk Management

      • Ensure credit exposure with dealers and distributors are within policy
      • Approve deviations for unsecured exposures when appropriate
      • Seek to decrease unsecured exposure without impacting the business
      • Manage Foreign currency exposure and availability
      • Manage Insurance policies and handling claims (All risk- Marine and Auto)
      • Understand drivers behind FX crisis such as the one impacting Egypt, and support the organization to navigate thought it

      Banking Relationship

      • Maintain robust banking relationships
      • Negotiate credit facilities to support business needs
      • Optimize share of products between banks
      • Act as a link between corporate and local relationship for banks with global presence

      Treasury Back-Office

      • Approval of manual payments
      • Oversight of fees and others expenses paid to banks
      • Support as back up in funding and reporting related activities for regional treasury center
      • Look for new system implementation that can streamlines the work

      Other responsibilities

      • Manage financial relations with international suppliers
      • Maintain adherence to Treasury and corporate policies, ensuring proper approvals and assessments are in place prior to execution
      • Developed high-level presentations ad reports for senior leadership


      Knowledge and Experience

      • 10+ years work experience in treasury in a multinational company, regional oversight of several countries will be considered beneficial
      • Strong financial analysis skills and ability to communicate strategically, both written and oral, including presentations for senior corporate management
      • Proven experience in handling FX crisis, such as the one currently in Egypt
      • Strong relationship management skills with financial institutions and business partners
      • Strong business acumen and strategic planning skills
      • Track record in managing compliance to corporate policies
      • Experience in Treasury Management System implementation
