      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Supervise and oversee the underwriting team to ensure adherence to corporate guidelines and procedures
      - Implement strategies to drive profitability and address challenges in underwriting practices
      - Manage agency relationships, educating agents about products and generating new business opportunities
      - Collaborate with marketing representatives to enhance customer experience and underwriting responsiveness
      - Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and training for team members while supporting diversity initiatives

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in insurance, business administration, or equivalent relevant experience
      - Minimum of six years of commercial lines underwriting experience
      - Previous supervisory or leadership experience
      - Strong knowledge of underwriting and risk analysis
      - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking abilities

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - CPCU designation or other underwriting-related designations
      - Proven problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions
      - Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media
      - Experience in motivating and leading a team effectively
      - Familiarity with customer service excellence and relationship management
