Sourcing – Manages the IT Software category sourcing with ~$1.5B spend by collaborating with the Global Technology organization and delivering significant savings with all other key measurements as defined by Procurement goals.
Supply Base Management – Implement world-class supply base management by leveraging Walmart spends. Develop category strategies and execution plans.
Talent Development – Ensure talent is appropriately identified by selecting and maintaining qualified direct reports and indirect reports; provide strong input and guidance on associate talent development. Recruit, retain and develop key talent to enable business objectives.
Introducing innovation through Software category strategies that unlock break through savings above and beyond AOP.
Building relationships with key stakeholders and leveraging these engagements to increase spends under management.

About the Team:
Global Procurement is responsible for sourcing of goods and services not for resale (GNFR). This responsibility spans end-to-end procurement; from collaborating with our business partners and developing requirements to negotiating with suppliers to deliver best in class supplier partnerships. Global Procurement adds value through ensuring quality and service levels are met, negotiating savings, driving innovation, adhering to compliance, and focusing on supplier diversity and sustainability. Procurement is responsible for the selection of suppliers and their overall performance on behalf of the business teams we support.
About the Position:
The Global Procurement Senior Director I will lead a team with responsibilities to sourcing execution, process excellence, capability development, supplier diversity, sustainability, and all Information Technology Procurement key initiatives. Reporting to Amy Watkins, Sr. Director II of Global Procurement, the Senior Director I will lead the design, adoption, and ongoing support of the Software Procurement strategy to achieve excellence in the areas of category management and sourcing, contract management, and supplier management.
