      Job Description

      The Valet Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, presentation, and repair of all team member uniforms. This role includes conducting minor alterations, managing uniform inventory, ensuring accurate issuance and returns, and supporting the seamless visual standard of the Faena brand across all departments.

      This full time position has an hourly compensation of $35.00 per hour.

      DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Issue, receive, and track all team member uniforms using wardrobe management systems.
      • Organize and maintain uniform storage rooms to ensure easy access and presentation.
      • Ensure all uniforms are labeled, sorted, and stored according to department standards.
      • Perform minor alterations including hemming, resewing buttons, repairing seams, and adjusting sizing as needed.
      • Monitor inventory levels; alert leadership when replacements or reorders are needed.
      • Conduct inspections of incoming/outgoing uniforms for quality and wear.
      • Coordinate with external vendors or laundry services when applicable.
      • Maintain a clean, organized sewing and repair station within the wardrobe or uniform room.
      • Collaborate with leadership to ensure all uniforms are aligned with grooming and brand standards.
      • Assist with new uniform fittings and seasonal rollouts.
      • Uphold visual consistency of team member appearance in alignment with Faena’s luxury identity.
      • Report any discrepancies in grooming, uniform compliance, or missing items to Housekeeping leadership.
      • Support styling and presentation standards for uniforms across all departments.

      Qualifications

      • 1–2 years of laundry or housekeeping experience, preferably in a hotel setting
      • Familiarity with laundry equipment and fabric care protocols
      • Ability to lift and carry loads of linen throughout the day
      • Basic sewing and garment repair skills required.
      • Experience in luxury hospitality, wardrobe management systems, or housekeeping operations preferred.
      • High attention to detail and visual presentation.
      • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
      • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information regarding team members.
      • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

      PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

      • Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas
      • Ability to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spaces
      • Remain active, constantly moving, or prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer throughout work shift
      • Medium Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of constantly moving objects, may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
