What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Document processes and create executive summaries and business-focused documentation
- Research and provide written guidance on alignment with security policies and standards
- Perform tasks related to security compliance, risk analysis, and exception documentation
- Collaborate with business areas and cross-functional Enterprise Architects to understand business needs
- Design and implement enterprise security/technology patterns
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Comprehensive knowledge of Information Security principles and best practices
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in security best practices and IT Governance, Audit, and Compliance
- Familiarity with the Commonwealth of Virginia's Information Security Standards or NIST Publication 800-53
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly
- Experience monitoring IT environments for compliance with security architecture policies and standards
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1 year of experience in Artificial Intelligence
- Experience in business writing and presenting
- Educational or career experience in Cybersecurity, Government technology implementation, or related fields
