- Work with the Profit Center Manager in developing and executing strategies to drive sales and profitability, ensuring that sales goals are achieved.

Monitor vendor shipments and receipt of merchandise to ensure they are within acceptable parameters.
- Continually analyze processes to improve productivity. Implement process changes and effectively train staff on changes.

Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess team performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Effectively manage inventory levels. Be responsible for procuring merchandise for resale and for inventory management. Work with the Profit Center Manager to negotiate with vendors to obtain the best pricing, delivery, and terms of purchase.

Develop lasting, ethical customer relationships to maximize our share of the customer’s potential. Become an integral part of accounts; understanding the customer’s needs with the goal of becoming their primary supplier.

Perform accurate and timely invoicing of all customer shipments. Handle all aspects of accounts receivable and accounts payable processing in accordance with company policy and procedure.
- Assist with servicing customers, inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehousing and sales as part of the Profit Center team.

Assist with annual inventory audit by preparing and conducting cycle counts.
- Perform all job functions in accordance with the company’s Safety Standards.

Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
- Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.

High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years warehouse, sales, and purchasing experience

1+ years of leadership experience

Have a comprehensive knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.

Have experience in warehouse management or a similar role, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Have experience identifying customer needs, providing solutions by explaining value added services, and being able to close the sale.

Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with co-workers, vendors, and management.
- Possess a comprehensive knowledge of and ability to apply and enforce OSHA, DOT, and other warehouse and material handling safety regulations.

Be able to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
- Be able to remain calm and function effectively in stressful, unexpected, and/or emergency situations.

Be able to safely operate all material handling equipment used in the warehouse.
- Quickly develop a comprehensive knowledge of products; be able to suggest appropriate related products for purchase.

Be able to learn and operate the computer-related systems used for sales and warehouse operations.
- Be able to effectively use Microsoft Office Outlook to communicate via email.

Our PCs conduct business under unique trade names and offer a customized business approach, honoring what’s special about each local marketplace.
Moore Supply Company is one of those trade names and is looking for a Vendor Managed Inventory Manager for their Kansas City, MO region. This is a remote position.
Pay for this position is between $65,000 and $75,000 per year at this location.Do you have a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity? Are you decisive and safety conscious?
