What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle for BioMed and Clinical Engineering vendors
- Coordinate negotiation strategies and commercial terms with Purchasing, Legal, and BioMed leadership
- Lead competitive sourcing events, RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs for relevant service categories
- Establish and monitor vendor performance management constructs, including SLAs and service credits
- Provide analytical support for cost reduction initiatives and contract rationalization
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree required in Business, Healthcare Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in vendor management, sourcing, contract management, or VMO roles
- Demonstrated experience working with major Clinical Engineering and OEM vendors
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar enterprise platforms
- Strong understanding of commercial constructs including SLAs, KPIs, and pricing models
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience supporting large, multi-site health systems or integrated delivery networks (IDNs)
- Familiarity with diagnostic imaging service contracts and operating models
- Exposure to clinical systems, connected medical devices, or cybersecurity considerations
- Experience partnering with IT, Purchasing, and Legal in complex sourcing environments
