      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct professional investigations of complaints related to long-term care facilities and services for Veterans and older adults
      - Provide technical assistance regarding Veterans Affairs benefits and services
      - Represent residents and consumers at hearings and appeals regarding long-term care services
      - Deliver education and outreach to adults age 60 and older and their families
      - Manage own administrative and operational support while prioritizing and documenting work

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Experience working with Veterans benefits
      - Experience conducting long-term care complaint investigations
      - Knowledge of aging, Veterans, or long-term care issues
      - Must achieve Tier One and Tier Two Long-Term Care Ombudsman certification within two years of hire
      - Valid Wisconsin driver license and evidence of auto insurance for travel

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with Family Care/PACE/Partnership/IRIS Medicaid waiver programs
      - Experience preparing or representing clients at state fair hearings and informal conferences
