What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify target practices/clinics in the veterinary marketplace and initiate contact with decision-makers
- Manage the sales process from lead generation to deal closing and follow-up activities
- Develop sales plan for each target customer and establish strong client relationships
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop sales strategies and increase market share
- Provide deal support, relationship management, and analytical insight
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in business or animal health science
- Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in a quota-carrying sales role within animal health technology
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and generating leads
- Strong business acumen and executive presence
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Certified Sales Professional)
- Experience in managing sales pipelines and forecasting
